This mattress not only provides exceptional pressure reduction and patient comfort but its patented design allows the top surface supporting the patient to remain in position when profiling. This significantly reduces the potential for shear and friction against patient tissue.

The mattress does not require turning or rotating, and the two-way stretch PU water resistant cover with high-frequency welded seams and a waterfal flap provides an excellent lying surface.

Engineered to conform with electric profiling beds the Invacare mattress is designed to provide exceptional pressure reduction and patient comfort, and uniquely conforms to the profile of an electric bed.

When a bed is profiled, the patented design of this mattress allows the top surface to retain its optimum properties for effectively supporting the patient, while the base of the mattress separately conforms to the bed frame.

The Softform Premier MaxiGlide Mattress features an innovative glide mechanism that significantly reduces shear and friction forces when using an electric profiling bed. The top surface provides excellent pressure redistributing properties with a high level of comfort and support, whilst the base of the mattress uniquely separates and conforms to the bedframe.

The Softform Premier MaxiGlide features a deep-contoured insert pad constructed from ‘keyhole’ cut castellated foam cells, which move independently to maximise the body contact area and optimise pressure reduction.
