Invacare Birdie Evo Compact 150 Patient Lifter Hoist
Our new Birdie EVO has been designed to offer a high feature-set of options that have been blended with new technologies to provide maximum comfort and security when lifting or transferring a patient to or from a bed, chair or even the floor.
The BirdieEVO encompasses an ergonomic lift that allows the client to be easily rotated 360°, making positioning much easier for the carer and reducing anxiety for the client.
The high boom ensures there is space for the client, even when the hoist is in its highest position, and the optimised space in front of the actuator reduces the risk of injury to the client’s knees.

Easy handling for the carer -The Birdie Compact is only 55cm wide making it the only lifter that is TV certified and is this narrow – unique to the market. The ergonomically designed push bar allows the carer to position their hands comfortably when moving the lifter, reducing the likelihood of strain. The 100mm smoothing rolling castors make it easy to push and pull the lifter, reducing the force required to manoeuvre.

Simple to fold, unfold and dismantle without tools – The Birdie Compact is designed to be folded easily and without any tools or special skills required. The Birdie Compact takes up minimal space when stored and is easy to push and transport. When space is at a premium the Birdie Compact can even be stored upright.

TV-certification for maximum security – The Birdie Compact is CE-certified in line with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/ECC. To ensure the Birdie Compact complies with AS 10535.2002 (the Australian standard for hoists) the lifter has been rigorously tested both by Invacare and the German TV institute, an accredited external body.

Configured to user needs – Users can enjoy maximum flexibility with a range of spreader bars and a very comfortable sling range, which allows for individual adjustment of the transfer. The new quick release attachment system makes configuration even easier.
